Elliptic provides crypto users with risk assessments regarding transactions, wallets and exchanges. These are accomplished by a team of human researchers using a proprietary dataset with decades of data.
Elliptic has incorporated ChatGPT into its off-chain intelligence and research operations to increase the accuracy and speed of identifying new risks, according to a statement on June 1.
It was noted that ChatGPT will allow researchers and investigators to address new risk factors at higher volumes and more quickly than ever before.

CTO of Elliptic Jackson Hullsuggested that the app has the potential to detect risks that human researchers may not be aware of, saying:

Several crypto companies have recently implemented ChatGPT into their operations and have had mixed results.
Cryptocurrency exchange Cryptocomlaunched Amy, a ChatGPT-based artificial intelligence user assistant, on May 3 to help keep users informed about the industry, including real-time token prices, projects, and past events.
A Cryptocom spokesperson told Cointelegraph that artificial intelligence has the potential to have major implications in the crypto industry. The spokesperson said they expect a lot of feedback to be integrated into future upgrades in the early days.

However, the cryptocurrency derivatives exchange bitget Cracks have been detected in the accuracy of ChatGPT’s responses for Bitget’s managing director, Gracy Chen, told Cointelegraph on June 1 that Bitget was initially impressed by ChatGPT’s handling of routine customer inquiries, but bugs were detected when more complex queries were given.
