Hackers hacked Robinhood’s Twitter account to promote their fraudulent tokens.
Prior to its removal, the tweet urged Robinhood’s 1.1 million followers to purchase the “RBH” token on the Binance Smart Chain for $0.0005.
Unknown clay or individuals hacked the Twitter account of crypto and stock trading platform Robinhood in order to sell their new tokens.
Many Twitter users urged Robinhood’s 1.1 million followers to purchase the RBH token on Binance Smart Chain at a price of 0.0005 on January 25. Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao stated that the company’s security team has locked the linked account “for further investigation”.
At the time of writing, the tweet is no longer appearing on Robinhood’s account.
